At Home for Good Singapore (HFG-SG), we believe every child deserves to grow up in a safe, stable, and caring family environment. Our members are part of a community that supports foster families, advocates for vulnerable children, and strengthens the fostering ecosystem in Singapore.

Whether you are a foster parent, exploring fostering, volunteering your time, or simply interested about supporting children and families, we warmly invite you to join us as a member.

As a member of HFG-SG, you will:

• Be part of a community committed to supporting foster families and vulnerable children.
• Receive updates on HFG-SG’s programmes, events, and developments in the fostering ecosystem.
• Be notified of workshops, dialogue sessions, and community events.
• Connect with foster parents, volunteers, professionals, and others who share a heart for children and families.
• Contribute your support towards building a stronger fostering community in Singapore.

There are many ways to support our work and vision to see every child in a loving home! We have these volunteer programmes:

1. Buddy for Good Befriender Programme

The Buddy for Good Programme train volunteer befrienders to provide emotional and social support to foster children and their families throughout their fostering journey. This befriender role continues to support the foster child and their biological families after reunification.

HFG-SG is looking for volunteer befrienders who are ready to make a difference and be a trusted adult presence in a foster child’s life to strengthen foster and biological families.

2. Skills-based volunteering

We're looking for volunteers who are keen to contribute their skills in these areas:

- Event photography

- Event support (e.g. set-up, tear-down, registration)

- Other ad-hoc roles e.g. Communications, Web Design, Graphic Design

Membership strengthens HFG-SG’s ability to:

• Support and resource foster families.
• Organise workshops, peer support gatherings, and community events.
• Facilitate conversations with key stakeholders in the fostering ecosystem.
• Raise awareness of fostering and the needs of vulnerable children.
• Build a stronger network of support around foster families.
