Building a Community Where Every Child Belongs
Home for Good, Singapore (HFG-SG) is a registered charity and Institution of a Public Character (IPC) committed to supporting foster families and advocating for vulnerable children in Singapore. Founded in 2013 by four Christian foster parents, HFG-SG began as an informal network built on the shared belief that every child deserves to grow up in a safe, loving, and stable home. On 28 February 2023, we officially became a registered charity, formalising our mission to serve as a trusted support network for foster parents and a voice for children in need. Over the years, our community has grown to provide practical support, encouragement, and resources to foster families across all races and religions.
What We Do
Support Foster Families – We offer resources, peer support, and a sense of community to help foster parents thrive in their caregiving journey.
Recruit and Inspire – We raise awareness and encourage more individuals and families to consider fostering.
Advocate for Change – We work toward a stronger, more compassionate foster care system through collaboration with government agencies, religious organisations, businesses, and other community partners.
Together, we are working toward a future where every child finds a home where they are loved and known.
Home for Good, Singapore Ltd. (UEN: 202228829D) is a Company Limited by Guarantee, registered as a Charity under the Charities Act on 28 February 2023. We are an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), which allows donations to be tax-deductible in Singapore.
The founders of Home for Good, Singapore were inspired by the work of Home for Good UK, a charity that helps find adoptive and foster homes for children in the UK care system. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Home for Good UK in any legal or organisational capacity.
About our Logo
The Home for Good Singapore (HFG-SG) logo shows how foster families can create loving environments simply by opening their hearts and their homes to children in need. Beyond that, the motif of a home also represents HFG-SG’s mission to be a family for foster families and provide them with a safe space to learn and ask for support.

Support
We walk alongside foster families with guidance and peer support. By sharing tips, resources, and encouragement, we ensure families are never alone in their fostering journey.
Together with volunteers, we build a wraparound support system that surrounds every foster child with care, creating a resilient community that sustains families and strengthens the fostering ecosystem.
Advocate
We are partnering with fostering agencies: Boys’ Town Fostering Services, Epworth Foster Care, Gracehaven Fostering, Muhammadiyah Association, and PPIS Oasis. We also convene dialogue sessions with MSF, foster parents, stakeholders and communities.
Through media engagement, corporate partnerships, and community outreach, we raise awareness of fostering as a collective responsibility to protect and uplift vulnerable children and families.
Resource
We equip foster parents and volunteers with the skills and confidence to thrive through curated programmes and workshops. These sessions provide practical tools to strengthen and resource foster parents.
